Just check out how much rockstar made from shark cards only since it's launch, you'll understand why. Or like that AMA Griefer trying to rationalize they are not supporting an exploitative game play system but are instead saving players money by making them quit by grieving them. The moment I bring up some or all of these questions listed above they suddenly take a vow of silence. I only make this post because while I see plenty of people willing to say I'm wrong about GTA:O being over priced content and exploitative game play to milk as much card shark money out of the player base as possible. That fundamentally undercuts the argument for both free updates and you can grind for money arguments. This turning and online multi player game into a glorified single player game with required internet connection to play. The fact one of the best ways to make money is to manipulate your hardware into lagging you into a solo public lobby. But also ignores a couple items on this list were the game is deliberately set up to entice and encourage players to interfere with your grind to slow down and reduce the money you make. Which varies from person to person depending on time they have. Or the line about if you grind you can make money. Which is funny because they get upset when you suggest that updates should then cost money. Usually with the argument about it being free updates. I ask because it doesn't take much to find someone complaining about people pointing out the often lazy and exploitative game play that Rockstar has developed for GTA:O. Why in the day and age were homing rockets are common with many new vehicles able to spam fire them even if limited to just 30 are sale mission vehicles (MC unarmed Buzzard) still able to be locked on? Why have they increased player's fire power capabilities (MK.2/specialty ammo) but not added an equal defensive upgrade as well? Why is the single most repeated and go to suggestion for making money is to manipulate your hardware into turning an online multiplayer game into a glorified online single player game? Why do I have to drive a slow unarmed vehicle that can't be picked up with a Cargobob instead of my heavily armed Night Shark? Why do I have to pay 10K insurance cost for blowing up a Deluxo who is attacking my supply/sale? Why do they steadily increase the number of weaponized vehicles in the game, yet still allow most vehicles to be blown up in 1 rocket? Why does the Tula cost 3.8M at the trade price? Why does it cost ~700k to add a bed to your CEO office? Why does the game throw NPC's and Players at you while you are doing resupply missions? Why does the game give not only a lobby wide alert but puts a literal target on the radar to alert other players to my actions? Tell me why are all players on the radar at all times? ![]() 1) Relevant, Reposted, Repetitive, Stolen Content, or Solicitation 2) Be Respectful 3) Descriptive Titles, Use the Appropriate Flair 4) Low Effort Submissions 5) No Discussion of Cheating or Glitches 6) Heist/Crew Recruitment And Looking For Players/Crews 7) Disallowed YouTube/Video Content 8) Question Posts And The FAQ Weekly Question Thread 9) Screen Capturing 10) Moderator Discretion The moderators of /r/gtaonline reserve the right to remove any post or comment at our own discretion or if they break the rules.
